What should happen to Don Imus?

I've been trying to keep up with the Don Imus situation for the past two days. He had called the female players of Rutgers University "a bunch of nappy headed hoes." His actions have cause an uproar, in which people are damanding that something happens. Because of this, the radio station that he works for has suspended him for two weeks. Later, he went on the Rev. Al Sharpton radio show and apologized to the masses. Rev. Sharpton, as well as others, believe he should be fired. Tavis Smiley, however, believed that the suspension was the right thing to do, be he thinks it was done for the wrong reason(s). While I personally did not like the comment Imus made, I do believe that they made the right call in just suspending him. Now, he may have done something similar in the past, but I dont think any action was taken, but I could be wrong. The suspension could have came sooner, rather than waiting two days, but at least they did suspend him. He now knows that the next time he slips could be worse for him. Another thing, despite the word "nappy" being in the quote, the comments were directed at all the players, both black and white. So, he wasnt just talking about the black women, but all of the women on the team. And so, I leave with this question. What would you have done or what would you do about Don Imus?
